Boston Public Schools is supporting classroom innovation by using interoperable systems so edtech works well together. The central office has created a culture of "yes" to edtech by encouraging teachers to safely discover and try new learning applications while gaining visibility into classroom edtech usage. By setting up interoperable systems, the district maintains its commitment to privacy and security while still empowering teachers to choose their own edtech.

Former 8th grade science teacher/tech director from Colorado. Passionate about software interoperability because I believe teachers should not have to have a degree in IT to teach with technology.
