Experiential learning pedagogy plays a prominent role in the higher education curriculum.However, there is a need for more research and development on how experiential learning pedagogy can utilize emerging technologies like learning analytics and machine learning for support. This session is based on doctoral research that brings together emerging technology, data analytics, and experiential learning to explore how technology could be used to aid in the learning and teaching of experiential learning programs. It will explore real-time technology-enabled, learning theory-based categorization of students and how it can be used by educators to tailor how they intervene in the learning process.
