The Student Success Index is an Institutional initiative that aggregates a broad set of metrics defining a series of data dimensions that reflect student success. Dimensions in the current index include Student and Faculty Engagement, Satisfaction, Academic Performance, Retention/Progression/Graduation, and Course/Program Performance. While the metrics for each dimension are available in their discrete form, the value of the index is derived largely from the analysis, calculations, and weightings that occur in the Index. Role-based views of the data are available for faculty, advisers, and academic administrators. The Index is presented in a dashboard format that emphasizes ease-of-consumption in actionable formats. This presentation will conclude with a review our plans for extended dimensions, data sets, and analysis as we extend the functionality and applicability of the Index.
