General Session -- Women in Technology Making Change Happen

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Change starts with an idea that offers potential to improve the success of an organization. But it takes more than ideas to make a positive impact. Change—or, to call it by another name, innovation—is the process of transforming a vision into a new reality that delivers the desired benefits. Technology touches all aspects of our lives and is central to evolving student-centered learning and lifelong learning. Yet today there are fewer women than men in technology leadership positions. Panelists will share how they are leading change while fostering collaborative work environments and encouraging academic innovation. The panel will also share ideas on how to get more girls interested in technology at a young age and programs to encourage more women to pursue technology leadership positions
