Innovative leaders around the world are preparing their organizations for the challenges of the changing education landscape. Designing curriculum and programs relevant for today while preparing students to succeed in the future, recognizing learning outside of the classroom, and even recognizing employer-based learning that can contribute to an academic credential. Lifelong learning standards and technology solutions are coming online that put the learner at the center and in control of their learning records. Are K-20 institutions ready to empower the learner, or will obstacles and barriers slow or even stop their progress? The panel of innovation leaders will share their stories, beginning with pragmatic accomplishments of short term goals, then inspiring a belief in the vision and finally, building organization-wide momentum for sustainable change.
