The IMS Learning Tools Interoperability standard has enabled an entire generation of learning tools to seamlessly, securely, and quickly integrate with key learning platforms across the education technology landscape. The newest release, LTI Advantage®, incorporates not just a critical evolution of the core standard (LTI 1.3) but a new framework-based architecture that allows for a true plug-and-play extensibility. LTI Advantage standard solves the problems of cobbled and disjointed user experiences, lack of visibility, granularity, and flexibility in reporting progress when using multiple tools, and concerns for the security of data.
