Moving Assessment Results: The Missing Piece of Interoperability
Getting the full gamut of assessment results into the hands of teachers and instructional leaders quickly enough to improve instruction is something that to date has been an aspiration verging on a pipe dream. The critical ability to report assessment results by moving an entire hierarchy of parent/child test scores from an assessment system to the destination system of choice (ex., LMS, SIS, data warehouse) is now supported by an IMS Global specification. This session introduces the OneRoster Grading Service Assessment Results Profile and provides demonstrations of supplier implementations that replace laborious, time-consuming extract-transform-load workflows with near real-time transmission of assessment results.
