For the past 17 years Dereck has worked in a variety of fields as a developer, team leader and data architect. Comfortable in a variety of programming languages and frameworks, his favorite non-work activity is picking up yet another programming language or database system and working through the tutorials. Dereck holds a Bachelors of Science in Theoretical Chemistry from Wake Forest University.
