As VP of Product for Schoology, Joel brings over 20 years of experience in both K-12 education and Education Technology product management to the mission of delivering the best K-12 teaching and learning platform. Joel led instructional technology teams in school districts across California prior to becoming a product leader, and is passionate about developing solutions that support the success of teachers and students in K-12. Joel's experience spans strategic product vision and execution, product portfolio management, education technology management, and the building and enablement of teams attuned to the needs of educators. Joel received a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine, and a Masters of Education from the University of Illinois.
